Introduction to Restorative Justice Practices (RJP) & Facilitation of Circles
Provides participants with the foundational knowledge needed to understand RJP concepts, along with building capacity to successfully implement basic RJP strategies to strengthen positive relationships within schools and organizations.
Provides participants with the knowledge and skills to successfully facilitate community building circles. Participants will learn how to facilitate various circle activities that help to strengthen authentic expression, and trust in the community.
Provides participants with an increased understanding of how to view and respond to others during conflict. Conflict is an opportunity to grow in understanding of the people involved in conflict, and how we respond to the conflict will either build or diminish trust and respect. Participants will increase their skills on how we can most effectively intervene to help restore relationships and improve future communication, and how to facilitate a Restorative Conference when significant harm has occured.
Restorative Justice Practices Coaching (In person or virtual)
Provides sessions with Restorative Practitioners that assess challenges during RJP training or implementation and provides best practices to support improvements in training and implementation.
Restorative Justice Practices Training of Trainers (TOT)
RJP TOT provides participants with the tools and skills to be able to present RJP trainings for Tier I practice. Participants will increase their knowledge and skills on how to present RJP information and how to engage participants in the learning. Participants will work with colleagues in the TOT to develop their own strategies to present the RJP information in ways that will be most effective and impactful.
